Well I'm not really a girl, but I did download and play Feeding Frenzy.  While playing last night I thought I'd check the leaderboards of my friends just to see who's been playing and how they're doing.  I was surprised to see only 4 of my friends played it, Sharee, Nawty Skoolgirl, Ichigo Sage (aka Pink Sage), and Trixie360.  All the people playing are female.  So are there any guys who are playing this game or am I the only one?

Well apparently IGN is reporting that Halo 3 is coming out March 2007.  I didn't want to post this or "report" on this, but every gaming site/blog seems to be reporting on a report by someone else about this, why not me?  That basically means we have a year til the next installment of Halo, not bad.  Why would they abandon the November release though?  Novemeber is a historically significant month for Xbox.  Xbox, and Halo CE, launched in Nov, so did Xbox Live, Halo 2 came out in Novemeber, as did the 360.  Am I the only one who thinks a November release for Halo 3, or Forerunner I really don't care what it's called, is likely?

btw, April 1st is coming, but hopefully IGN can come up with something better than a fake Halo 3 release for April Fool's.

WOW!!!  My MSN Space got around 250 hits yesterday.  That may not seem like a lot, but for some random guy talking about XBOX that's pretty good.  I used to get a lot of hits when I first started blogging but when I got busy at work I lost most people.  So thanks for checkin me out again.

I got Far Cry Instincts Predator, I basically buy every game that comes out on the 360, or that's how it feels.  This is definitely going to be my FPS of choice for now.  If you're one of those people who played Halo 2 and have no fps on the 360 that you love, pick up FarCry.  Yeah, PDZ is ok, but it's too slow for me.  Quake 4 is really fast paced, and the framerate is garbage on that game.  FarCry has smooth controls, better graphics than any other FPS, and it moves at a perfect speed.  Thank you Ubisoft, so far you've put out a great tactical shooter (GRAW) and a great run and gun shooter.  Anyone can hit me up this weekend on live, I'm going the ambassador thing so I'll basically be playing all weekend.  Looking for people to play FarCry and Fight Night mainly.  On a side note, I wish I could play the Xbox team on Fight Night, but I think I'm working when they're playing that.  I could just check the schedule, but I spend enough time on xbox.com.

No I'm not talking about our politics or foreign policies, I'm talking about our Diamond cards and free weekend of Xbox Live Gold service.  If you're on any kind of forums, especially the xbox.com forums, you know what I'm talking about.  Lots of Canadian and Brits seem to feel it's so unfair because we seem to get all this cool stuff from MS. You know what?  You guys get way cooler stuff in my opinion.

What am I talking about? Limited edition Xbox's.  We got what, the Halo Xbox? Between Europe, Canada, and Japan you guys get the coolest limited edition Xbox's.  Now there's already been a limited edition Xbox 360 announced for Japan.  There will be a blue Fifa 2006 Xbox 360 released in Japan, it's already starting.  Why Japan though?   They didn't seem to like the 360 too much, is a blue one really going to help sales?  If you want to sell more 360's in Japan, put pictures of half naked 12 year old girls on the side of it, they'd love that.  Maybe it's just me, but I'd trade my Diamond card for some cool limited edition 360's anyday.

Please, if you're going to send me a friend request just tell me who you are, where you saw me, and maybe even why you sent the request.  I get a bunch of random friend requests from people and I have no idea who you all are.  Just tack on a message and it's cool, or I'm gonna have to stop accepting the random friend requests.

Well today the ability to add and remove friends via Xbox.com has finally become reality.  There were hints in the past that this feature was coming, so it's nice to see the follow through, but that's not the update I'm talking about.

For those of you who read every little piece of news and listen to everything you can, you know Major Nelson has referenced some huge updates to Xbox Live, and something that's so cool he wished he could talk about it.  Anyone heard any good rumors or got some good guesses as to what these updates and cool things could be?

I'm sticking with my original rumor that I was told by a "source" on a forum.  This was prior to the announcement about the core and "premium" versions of the Xbox 360.  He told me there would be 2 versions of the 360 at launch and a third to roll out about a year later.  This would have a larger hard drive (which we all know is coming) and would do things like web browsing and maybe msn messenger.  Now I'm not sure they'd release a different version of the 360, but these options are more than doable, and if I'm trusting anyone it's this guy.

The next stuff is some rumor, some hinting by MS people.  Things like being able to talk to play a game while downloading could be in our future.  Increased PC to 360 communication including video streaming for those of us without a Media Center PC.  What's this whole Direct TV thing?  If you ask me MS is keeping all this tightly under wraps.  With the launch of Sony's online service this fall MS doesn't want to give them anymore great ideas that they can use.

Ok, so this entry is for my 360 owners out there.  We had a pretty slim choice in terms of games to play for the 360 for a while there, I mean come on, was PDZ really that good?  I don't think so.  Right now we have an even bigger problem, too many good games.  The newer games coming out for the 360 are just killin it in the graphics department and they're good in general.  I'm at the point where I don't know what to play, maybe I just need to stop buying games.

Currently I own about 8 games, and I keep buying all the new games that come out.  I own GR:AW, Fight Night Round 3, and Oblivion.  The bigger problem is this week I'm getting Far Cry Predator.  So am I the only one who has too many games to play and feels like he can't give any game any real attention?

Sorry for no new entries, I blog at work and work's been busy.  It's a choice, either I look at every piece of gaming news and all the different community sites, or I blog, you can see what I chose.

Let's get started with the "news".  Tomb Raider, anyone got an official US release date for this one?  I have 4/4 for but I haven't really confirmed that with anyone, should be sweet though.  I remember Tomb Raider being one of my favorite games on *GASPS* PS1.  Then there's this big Viva Pinata announcement and campaign going on.  Am I the only who's confused?  This game doesn't look like something I'd be interested in or even understand.  It's like Pokemon, I never understood that til I got real high and watched it one day, then I was watching religiously.  Did you know if you mute the tv when pokemon's on and blast some hip hop it looks like the people in that show are rapping?  Back to the game, I really don't know what to day, maybe if I still got high it would make sense, but I don't think it's worth it just to get some weird game.

OBLIVION!!!  Yes, today is the day we've all been waiting for.  I got my complimentary automated call from uber freaky Erin at EB Games.  I hate being stuck at work knowing I could go pick this game up.  Maybe I'll try to cut out early and beat traffic so I can get it asap.  Other than that I'm addicted to FNR3, even though I got GRAW, let's see how into Oblivion I can get.  Later

So yesterday I decided I was going to pre-order GRAW.  I wasn't going to get this game at first since I figured I'd just play Oblivion and wait for Gears of War.  Gears of War is coming out in what, July?  So I will be playing Ghost Recon, anyone wanna play with me? 

I'm really enjoying this game, as I've said before.  I'm really trying to play online more though, I figure it will just make me better.  The thing is, half the people online play like 5 year old girls in pink dresses.  The whole point of boxing, even for a counter puncher, isn't to wait for you opponent to punch then hit him back.  So many people online seem to only be interested in countering, to the point that you can just stand on the opposite side of the ring and they won't do anything.  Last night, I had one guy just stand there for almost 45 seconds waiting for me to come punch him, I didn't just because I knew what he was doing and I was trying to get him to fight for real.

The next things, what's up with the matchmaking?  When my record is 2-6 should I be getting matched up against people who are 156-49?  Yeah, that must be truskill, good job with that one.

Out today is the lastest episode of Gamertag Radio.  If you're not a fan, or never heard it, I'm not sure this episode is the one that will make you love GTR.  I enjoyed it because they talked about FNR3 and their impressions, as well as a lot of trash talking about the game.  This episode was definitely a funny one though, and I love hearing their impressions of games so you should probably check it out.  The songs for this espisode were also great, who doesn't like KRS One?  Speaking of that, they got an interview with him soon so that should be cool, and they're hinting at something big coming up.  Check out their site, it's in my links, and you might want to try to get in on their Fight Night Tournament.

On to Fight Night, just in general.  First off, Nano from GTR is talking himself up as the greatest.  I don't know how I'd measure up, but anyone out there who is real good you should send a message to Nano 551 and try to get a match going.  As for me, I'm always looking for people to play with.  I'm not all that great, but it's fun to play with cool people.  Send me a messsage or FR with a message attached and we can go at it.  I'll be on tonight sometime after 10pm eastern time.
